While making Christmas cookies is fun, sometimes you just need a fast and easy treat recipe to use for easy gifting over the holiday season. This fudge recipe is SUPER simple, delicious, and only uses three ingredients: chocolate chips, frosting, and peppermint essential oil. Not only does it taste great, but it gives you an opportunity to share essential oils with friends and family.
Make this peppermint fudge and bring it to a holiday get-together, give it as a gift, or easily make it at home with the kids. We like to make a couple of batches and pack the fudge in a cute box to give to all of the kids’ teachers – it’s always a huge hit!
Easy Peppermint Fudge with Essential Oils
Ingredients
1 Tub of vanilla frosting (I used Pillsbury Creamy Supreme Vanilla)
1 Bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips (yes, one entire bag)
4 drops Peppermint Essential Oil (I used the Young Living brand for this recipe, make sure to check the label of your oil for proper use instructions!)
Directions
- Melt frosting in the microwave for 30 seconds.
- Melt the bag of chocolate chips. (I microwaved for about 30 seconds at a time and stirred/microwaved a bit longer until the chocolate chips were all melted).
- Mix the frosting into the chocolate.
- Add peppermint oil. Stir.
- Spread into 8×8 foil-lined pan and place in the fridge until hardened.
- Enjoy!
Seriously, SO delicious – make sure you have friends or family around or you might be tempted to eat the entire batch!

(If you are a distributor or wellness advocate, make sure you include your business information on the back!) This will let the recipient know how to make their own fudge in the future, and let them know where to get their peppermint oil from 😉
