Warm Woods with Citrus Zing
Combine warm, woodsy oils like Cedarwood or Fir or Balsam wood with tangy, citrus overtones like Orange, Lemon or Grapefruit. The wood blends give you a grounded, solid feeling of stability and warmth, while the citrus keeps you active, motivated, energetic and feeling footloose and fancy-free.
Always try to balance citrus with something a bit more stable because it is a highly energetic type of fragrance. Spruce and Cypress are also great woods to combine with your zesty citrus.
Deeper Warmth with Light Jasmine
Jasmine is a very light, feminine, airy fragrance and should be worn alone or with a much broader scent like Lavender. Lavender has an intense, earthy warmth that gives an excellent firm deep layer to the fragrance while Jasmine floats high above in a far more light layer.
